Ike Hits Central New York
1000's are out of power and trees down all over the place. High winds hit us around 12am last night, gusts between 50 to 70+ mph Nothing like the folks in Texas, but still bad enough for us Yankee's

600,000+ without power in southwestern Ohio/N. KY/SE Indiana starting Sunday afternoon. Many are STILL without power, including me. Totally sucks since, here
in Ohio, this is not at all something we were prepared for. Sure, we expected some rain, but not 60 mph winds and so many power-outages. People are freaking
nuts because of it. Most stores and gas stations are still out of commission and folks are going and hoarding gas like crazy.
I'm living on peanut butter and cold showers till the power gets restored. Tonight I'm at work, so actually ate "real" food (if you count hospital cafeteria food as "real."). I'm off work again till Friday night with just the battery in my laptop that I've charged tonight to last until...whenever. This royally sucks. Not to take away from Haveno's and other folks more devistating circumstances. This just isn't anything we're used to in this part of the country.
